VALDOSTA – Patsy Casteen from South Georgia Rocks visited Highland Christian Academy’s elementary art classes as a guest to do a rock painting lesson using an acrylic pouring method. 

The rocks will be hidden by students around the community as part of The Kindness Project based on the idea from the books “Sally The Stone and Friends,” “Spread Kindness” and “Joy” by Sally Schnarr which Casteen read to the students, school officials said. 

“HCA is thankful for Mrs. Casteen and her amazing way in teaching the students how to spread kindness to our community by placing rocks of encouragement in parks and public places,” school officials said.
