Lowe’s is announcing the opening of its newest store Sept. 1 in Live Oak.

According to Lowe’s, the doors will open to the public Sept. 1 with grand opening festivities Sept. 6.

The store, located at 208 72nd Trace of US 129 north, is a superstore with 94,000 square feet of retail sales space with an adjacent garden center. The store will stock 32,000 different items to help customers build, improve and beautiful their homes, Lowe’s said. According to Lowe’s, a store this size represents an average investment for the company of $12 million and creates up to 120 new jobs.
