James David Russell

HAHIRA — James David Russell, 84, of Hahira, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.

Mr. Russell was born on May 27, 1922, in Escambia County, Fla., to the late James A. and Claudia Yarbrough Russell. He was an United States Army veteran, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Hahira Masonic Lodge # 346.

Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Russell. His survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, William A. and Deidre Russell of Hahira; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon R. and Rod Morgan of Orange Park, Fla.; two grandchildren, Braum Russell of Hahira and Hope Drabek of Holiday, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Anthony Drabek and Austin Drabek; one brother, David A. Russell of Crestview, Fla.; and one sister, Doris Berry of Middleburg, Fla.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, Fla. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
