(Buddy) Bowles



Mr. Willie C. (Buddy) Bowles, 61, of Jennings, Florida, passed this walk of life on Wednesday, August 1, 2007.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 24 years, Joann Bowles of Jennings; one loving daughter, Angela Jackson (Anthony); two granddaughters: Monica Bowles and Ty’Kia Jackson, all of Germany; his mother, Mary Lee Bowles of Jasper, Florida; four sisters: Missouri Baker and Ernestine Smith, both of Jasper, Sarah Mitchell of Jennings, and Annie Williams of Tallahassee, Florida; two brothers: Willie Frank Bowles of Jasper, and Freddie Bowles of White Springs; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Wake services will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2007, at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on August 11, 2007, at the North Hamilton Elementary School with the Reverend Billy Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the West Lake Cemetery.

Robert Lee Turpin



Robert Lee Turpin, age 44, of Jennings, Florida, passed away Monday, July 27, 2007, at his home. Mr. Turpin had been a resident of Jennings for the past 11 years and was employed by Sun Coast RV. He was a native of Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Survivors include his wife, Lela Turpin of Jennings; two sons: David Hole and Johnathon Flaurr; two daughters: April Grimes and Melissa Flaurr, all of Crawfordsville; his mother, Elizabeth Turpin of Crawfordsville; three sisters: Pamela Dexter of Lafayette, Louisiana, Diane Johnson of New Market, Indiana, and Kathy Hoffman of Crawfordsville; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Saturday, August 4, 2007, at the KOA Campground in Lake Park, Georgia, and another on August 8, 2007, at One Way Pentecostal Apostolic Church in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Harry T. Reid Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
