Roxanna Banbury Stover

Roxanna Banbury Stover, 61, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 after a long illness. She was born Aug. 3, 1945 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to parents, Ralph and Martha Banbury.

Stover moved to Melbourne, Florida where she worked at Harris Corporation Goverment High Tech Defense from 1978-1987. Stover moved to Live Oak, Florida 20 years ago. She managed the BP station on I-10 and US 129 for years. Stover was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Banbury and her son, Micheal Stover.

Survivors include her sons, George Stover, Curtis Stover and Rusty Stover, all of Live Oak, Florida; her daughter, Lori Stover Fox of Casa, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 step-grandchildren.

Joan Chilcott

Joan Chilcott, 75, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007 in Suwannee Healthcare and Rehabilitative Center, Live Oak, Florida. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native moved to Live Oak, Florida seven years ago from Delaware. She was a homemaker, a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and a former member of Rocky Sink Baptist Church.

Survivors include six daughters, Joanie Tomar of Greensboro, North Carolina, Linda Galligan of Manassas, Virginia, Laurie Morris of Deaford, Delaware, Debbie Connors of Kingsland, Georgia, Tina Kratz of Seaford, Delaware and Dawn McCurdy of Live Oak, Florida; four sons, Robert Bowker of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, John Chilcott of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Jim Chilcott of Cottage Grove, Minnesota and Chris McCurdy of Palm Bay, Florida; two sisters, Ruthie Herbert of Oceanside, California and Margaret MacMichael of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania; 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Les Chilcott and her son, Robert Chilcott.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Friday, Aug. 3 at Rocky Sink Baptist Church, Live Oak, Florida with the Rev. Bobby McCray and the Rev. Quincy Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family wishes donations be made to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 18305 56th Street, Live Oak, FL 32060.
