VALDOSTA — There were no injuries after a one-car wreck Monday morning, according to law-enforcement officials.
The incident occurred at about 9:15 a.m. in the 4500 block of Bemiss Road near Parrish Monument Company, according to a Georgia State Patrol trooper on the scene.
The driver of a car heading northbound on Bemiss Road apparently had a seizure, blacked out and hit a mailbox before plowing into a Colquitt EMC power pole, which snapped, the trooper said.
The driver was not injured and was not taken to the hospital, according to the trooper. Colquitt EMC had a truck on the scene to deal with the pole.
