BRANFORD — From the courtyard at Branford High School to the streets around town, Branford was full of Halloween treats Saturday.

Branford High’s Interact Club hosted its annual fall festival at the school Saturday afternoon before the town’s trick-or-treating began.

The festival included food and games in the courtyard at BHS in addition to a costume contest. Winners in the costume contest included Jordan Schofield, Roman Clower, Rayleigh James Redford, Kaitlin Cianelli and Genna Breitberg.

The festival drew more than 800 people with participants ranging from Tallahassee to Lake City and everywhere in between.

The town-wide trick-or-treating then followed Saturday night, including a pedestrian-only area near Hillcrest Circle just north of BHS.
