— Valdosta has lost one of its seafood options. Captain Hook Seafood and Chicken on Northside Drive is closed and the building is up for sale. It opened less than a year ago, in December, in the old Huddle House location.

— A new nutrition business is coming to Lake Park. The Nest will be going in near Smitty’s on GA 376.

— Play It Again Sports is planning to set up shop on Baytree Road. The sporting goods chain buys, sells and trades sporting equipment.
