SRTC Participates in Georgia Spring Leadership Conference and Competitions

THOMASVILLE — The Georgia State Collegiate chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), along with the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) and Georgia Student Government Association (GSGA) partnered to host the Georgia Spring Leadership Conference and Competitions in Atlanta this past weekend. Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) was represented by 21 students and advisors. Competitions and state officer presentations were hosted throughout the next two days as the conference progressed. Award ceremonies began Saturday afternoon.
SRTC chapters of NTHS were recognized for their contribution of $223 to the literacy fundraiser that was held in the fall 2023 semester. NTHS Outstanding Student of the Year was Pamela Wagner and NTHS Advisor of the Year was Mrs. Carolyn Jones. Both of these honors are selected by the Georgia NTHS leadership team based on individual participation and dedication to the organization and communities.

FBLA Collegiate named Micaela Miley and Santos Hernandez as FBLA Collegiate Who’s Who Members. This designation is awarded to students who are exemplary members and have made outstanding contributions to the association at a local, state, and national level.
