2nd Annual Bluesberry festival unveils band line-up

VALDOSTA — Organizers continue preparations for the 2nd Annual Bluesberry Festival, planned for April 19-20 at Unity Park Amphitheater, 301 E. Central Ave.

“We are excited to bring back the Bluesberry Festival for its second year, and this year’s line-up is truly exceptional. With a mix of local talent and renowned musicians from across the region, the festival promises to be a celebration of blues music in all its forms. We can’t wait to welcome music lovers from near and far to Unity Park Amphitheater for a weekend of memorable performances and community spirit,” said Main Street Manager Kym Hughes.

The music will begin Friday night, April 19, with performances by some of the finest local artists in the region, the organizers said in a press release. The evening’s line-up includes:

— Jenny and the Bets: With their soulful sound and infectious energy, Jenny and the Bets are sure to get the crowd moving and grooving.

— The Evergreen Family Band: A harmonious blend of folk and blues, The Evergreen Family Band promises to deliver a performance that captivates hearts and souls.

— Page Brothers: Their music is characterized by intricate vocal harmonies, catchy melodies, and thoughtful lyrics.

— Blues Factor: Back by popular demand, Blues Factor returns to the Bluesberry Festival stage, ready to dazzle audiences with their signature blend of blues and rock.

As the sun rises on Saturday, April 20, the festivities continue with a line-up of bands from near and far:

— The Seth Tucker Trio: Delivering a fusion of blues, jazz, and rock, The Seth Tucker Trio promises a performance that transcends genres and captivates audiences.

— Khemistry: With their soulful melodies and powerful vocals, Khemistry brings a dynamic energy to the stage that is not to be missed.

— Jacksonville Slim: Hailing from our own backyard, Jacksonville Slim is set to ignite the crowd with their raw and authentic blues sound.

— Trouble Tones: Making the journey from Atlanta, Georgia, Trouble Tones brings a fresh perspective to the blues genre, infusing their music with passion and intensity.

— Miles to Moonlight: Embark on a musical journey with Miles to Moonlight as they blend elements of blues, funk, and rock into a unique and captivating sound.

— Dirty Bird and the Flu: Get ready to dance as Dirty Bird and the Flu serve up a high-energy performance that will have you moving and grooving all night long.

— Sauce Boss: Straight from Tallahassee, Florida, Sauce Boss brings a taste of southern blues with a side of culinary flair, combining music with a live cooking show that is sure to tantalize the senses.

— Troy Turner: Closing out the festival in style, headliner Troy Turner comes all the way from New Orleans. With his soulful vocals and masterful guitar skills, Turner promises to deliver a performance that will leave a lasting impression.
