…A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern

Hendry County through 445 PM EDT…

At 343 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking

a strong thunderstorm over Montura, moving northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is

possible.

Locations impacted include…

Montura, Devils Garden, and Harlem.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around

unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the

storm passes.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

stations and available television stations for additional information

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
