Minnie Lee Cole
Minnie Lee Cole of Bellville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2007. She was a member of Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church of Bellville where Reverend Mack Bennett is Pastor. Her father JC Merine preceded her in death.
Fond memories are left in the hearts of her dear family including her husband, Lewis Cole of Bellville; mother, Annie Lee Marine; two children, Shikira Cole and Whitney Cole both of Bellville; four sisters: Mable Robinson (George) of Live Oak, Florida, and Diane Marine, Rose Mary Mitchell and Elizabeth Marine all of Bellville; three brothers: James Marine (Barbara) of Orlando, Florida, and Leroy Marine and Stephen Marine, both of Bellville, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 2, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. at Hall’s Memorial Chapel in Jasper, Florida. Home going service for Minnie Lee Cole will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church with the Reverend Mack Bennett officiating. Committal will follow in Bellville Community Cemetery in Bellville.
Professional mortuary service is by Charles T. Hall Funeral Home.
Annah Lou Dukes
Annah Lou Dukes, 70, of Statenville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2007, at her residence. Born on January 1, 1937, in Hamilton County, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Willie M. and Ella Aileen Smith Willis. Mrs. Dukes worked for almost ten years in food service for Echols County Schools. Her fellow workers greatly assisted her in the kitchens at the schools. She was a member of Statenville United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Dukes is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald Dukes of Statenville; daughter and son-in-law, Tonda and Scott Ramsey of Ranger; grandchildren, Ben and Liz Ramsey of Canton, Lauren Ramsey of Ball Ground, Adam Ramsey of Marietta; great grandson, Elijah Ramsey of Ball Ground; sister, Willene Drury of Jasper, Florida; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Brenda Lehman of Lake Park, and Frances and Bob Bachne of Orange Park, Florida; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Aldean and Ann Dukes of Dasher, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Willis and Charles Willis.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 29, 2007, in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home with Reverend Fred Foster officiating. Burial followed in the Statenville Cemetery.
