Lanier County and the city of Lakeland will have a parade celebrating and honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 3 p.m. Jan. 13.

Members of the public are asked to participate. Floats are also welcome. No entry fee is required.

The parade lineup starts at 2 p.m. at Lanier Flatlander Park in Lakeland.
