VALDOSTA — Home Instead, a locally owned provider of in-home care services, has been recognized as Business of the Week for its 20 years of dedicated service to the aging community in Valdosta and surrounding areas.
Owned by Charles Coker, Home Instead offers personalized care, including personal care, Alzheimer’s support, hospice care, and more, the Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce said in announcing the award.

In 2024, the company provided over 160,000 hours of care with a team of more than 120 caregivers, helping individuals live well at home. Home Instead is also deeply involved in the community, participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and running holiday programs such as Welcoming Veterans Home for the Holidays and Be a Santa to a Senior.
As part of its commitment to the aging journey, Home Instead is rebranding in 2025 with an updated logo and voice to reflect its focus on compassionate, empathetic care.
