Azalea Festival kicks off Saturday, will continue Sunday

VALDOSTA — Crowds turned out Saturday morning for Valdosta’s Azalea Festival in Drexel Park.
Skies were overcast, but the rains held off to allow guests to enjoy the sights, sounds and food of the annual event.

Weather forecasts call for a 90% chance of rain on Sunday, but if the weather permits, the festival will continue that day too.
