QUITMAN — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is probing an aggravated assault in Quitman.

On March 4, a 911 call reported a shooting at Preston Place Apartments, a GBI statement said.

Two men, ages 18 and 22, were taken to local hospitals with gunshot wounds. The 18-year-old remained hospitalized Monday, while the 22-year-old had been treated and released, the statement said.
