VALDOSTA — SGMC Health, in partnership with Morrison Healthcare, is excited to introduce a revamped patient menu aimed at enhancing both nutritional balance and comfort.
Understanding that diet is crucial to the healing process — equally as important as prescribed treatments — SGMC Health’s Food Services team has developed a menu that caters to patients’ dietary requirements while offering a diverse array of familiar favorites, the health system said in a press release. The new menu features daily specials alongside always-available options, allowing patients to select meals that best match their preferences and nutritional needs.
“Our mission is to deliver meals that not only fulfill medical and nutritional criteria but also provide comfort and enjoyment,” stated Jason Childress, system director of food and nutrition at SGMC Health. “A positive dining experience significantly contributes to overall well-being, and we aim to support our patients in every facet of their care.”
The updated menus will introduce a restaurant-style dining experience, presenting fresh, high-quality dishes to patients, the health system said.
