SGMC Health recognizes Barron as health system hero

SGMC Health honored Nichole Barron, CNA, at SGMC Health Berrien, as the April Health System Hero for her unwavering commitment to excellence, compassion and teamwork. She was recognized at the health system’s monthly board of directors meeting.

Barron has consistently gone above and beyond in her role, regularly picking up uncovered shifts, day and night, demonstrating her deep commitment to high reliability. Her willingness to step in wherever needed, even outside her own department, highlights her exceptional teamwork and service-driven mindset.

Known for her deep compassion and patience, especially when caring for the geriatric population, Barron provides an unsurpassed patient experience through her attentive and professional care. She is often seen assisting with housekeeping tasks without hesitation, creating a clean and safe environment for patients and staff alike. Her strong work ethic and positive attitude uplift everyone around her.
