VALDOSTA — The Azalea City has set the hours for ghosts and goblins to roam the streets this Halloween.

The annual trick or treat time will be between 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, a statement from the city said.

The statement urged all trick or treaters to carry flashlights and add reflective tape or glow sticks to costumes, and to be on the lookout for any hurricane storm damage debris; to use crosswalks and look both ways before crossing streets; to be sure children are accompanied by adults; and for parents to inspect all treats before they are eaten.
