It was a gala celebration for all the athletes of Tabernacle Baptist Christian School. The school participates in sporting events throughout the year in both girls and boys venues. This year was great for the school. Their teams made it to the state championships in the Christian League in all of their sports and did well. The girls basketball team won their district trophy for the first time in 10 or 11 years according to Pastor Roser.
Matt Frier was the guest speaker. He told all assembled about his days in college and as a pro football player. His message to the kids was to be a light unto the world and trust in the Lord because He always knows what’s best for you.
