Ronald G. Lee, Sr., 71, passed away July 2, 2008 in the McGraw Center of Community Hospice of NE Fla. He was born on March 14, 1937 in O’Brien, Fla. He proudly served our country as a career U.S. Marine. Ron served with the 1/9 (The Walking Dead) in Vietnam (’67-’68).
His memberships included the Marine Corps League, Semper Fidelis Society, VFW, DAR, The Purple Heart Society and several other Marine Corps associations
Survivors include his loving wife, Victoria Hayward Lee; daughter, Melissa Ann Lee; son, Ronald G. Lee, Jr. (Elyse); brother, Ralph Lee (Twig); seven sisters, Joyce Lookingbill (Robert), Evelyn Hall, Terri Simpson, Jerri Lee, Millie Burnett (Robert), Rita Hingson (David), and Carol Walbridge; and grandchildren, Ariel, Ethan, Abbey, Christopher, Sam and Alexis. His parents, Ida Mae (Nee Pearson) and Perry Lee, predeceased him.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 11 in the chapel of Quinn-Shalz, a Family Funeral Home with full military honors.
