Anyone in the community interested in learning about Upward Soccer is urged to attend a kickoff banquet on Thursday, May 22 in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church beginning at 7 p.m. A meal will be served and Brian Lewis, minister of activities at First Baptist will introduce Upward Soccer, and speak of the impact this sport can have on the youth of this community. Lewis said, “our goal is to reach 300-400 children through this program during the first year.”



The Suwannee River Assembly of God has joined hands with First Baptist, and both congregations will be reaching out to other churches in the community.
