Laptops and cash were some of the items taken in a string of burglaries early Wednesday morning at a local school and other businesses, according to Live Oak Police Det. Sgt. Ron Shaw.

Shaw said cash and gift cards were stolen from offices at Suwannee High School, laptops were taken from Melody Christian Center and several unidentified items were taken from the county bus garage.

“We’ve got two people of interest but are keeping it quiet at this time of the investigation,” said Shaw.

Shaw said Thursday video surveillance tapes from the high school will be looked at today. Shaw said the tapes show two suspects entering the school around 2:20 a.m.
