Mrs. Vonda L. Posey, age 72, of O’Brien, Florida passed away at her residence Monday, January 19, 2009 following an extended illness. She was a native of Wooster, Ohio, and lived in Live Oak before moving to O’Brien 25 years ago. Mrs. Posey was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and enjoyed volunteering at the Branford High School.

Mrs. Posey is survived by her son; Richard Lowe (Cynthia) of Orlando, FL, daughters; Debra Rice (Harry) of South Carolina, and Elizabeth Forsyth (Micheal) of O’Brien, FL her sister; Karylin Hoover (Pete) of Arizona, two grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

A private memorial service will be held in Ohio at a later date. Services are under the care and direction of ICS Cremation and Funeral Home, 357 NW Wilks Lane, Lake City, FL. 386-752-3436.
