DALTON, Ga. — A 59-year-old Dalton woman was arrested and charged on Friday with four counts of felony sexual exploitation of children/computer pornography after investigators found four “pornographic videos involving obvious juveniles” on a computer at her residence, according to an incident report and a warrantless arrest statement.
Katrina Crass Minor, of 1222 Arabian Drive, received a $5,000 bond in Superior Court by Chief Judge William T. Boyett on Tuesday, but she was still being held at the county jail Tuesday evening.
The incident report from the sheriff’s office said investigators were executing a search warrant at Minor’s residence while assisting the FBI. Sheriff’s office officials referred questions about the investigation to the FBI. A representative of the local FBI office declined to comment.
“On June 28, 2019, while assisting the Federal Bureau of Investigation with the execution of a search warrant, it was discovered that there were numerous pornographic videos involving obvious juveniles on a computer inside the residence,” Detective Ronny Morris wrote in the incident report.
According to the warrantless arrest statement filed in Whitfield County Magistrate Court, Morris found four videos of female children involved in various sexual activities. The statement noted that the computer was Minor’s work computer and no one else in the residence had a login for the computer.
