VALDOSTA — A Lowndes County elementary school is getting ready for its annual fall festival.

Dewar Elementary School’s festival is Thursday, Nov. 2, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and is open to the public, a statement on the school’s Facebook page said.

Admission is free but game punch card tickets will be needed for all games, bounce houses, pumpkin painting and face painting events, the petting zoo and more. There are 20 punches on a ticket, and activities range from 1-3 punches, the statement said.

A pumpkin patch, fall photo opportunities, a fire truck, a mobile library and more will be there. Food will be available at three food trucks (items priced by trucks; cash or card accepted) and concessions ($1/item, cash only), the school said.
