LAKELAND — Authorities are investigating a weekend shooting death in Lakeland.

The Lakeland Police Department asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to probe the death of Timothy Hunt, 27, of Naylor, a GBI statement said.

Sunday, Hunt was shot and killed at a home on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Lakeland.

No arrests have been made yet, the GBI said.
