VALDOSTA — Brian Kemp is scheduled to visit Lowndes County Wednesday not Thursday.

He is scheduled to visit 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, Lowndes County Republican headquarters, 2201 Bemiss Road, according to a schedule released by the campaign. The Times originally reported Kemp would visit Thursday.

Instead, Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to join the Kemp campaign Thursday in Dalton and other locations across the state.

The GOP gubernatorial candidate is scheduled to make the Valdosta stop Wednesday as part of his “Road to Victory” bus tour, according to a statement from his campaign staff.
