VALDOSTA— The National Weather Service tornado warning for southern Berrien, Lanier and northeastern Lowndes counties expired at 9 p.m. 

The weather service had said radar indicated a tornado near Ray City and Lakeland.  

Several thunderstorms continued throughout South Georgia even after the tornado warning had expired.
