Valdosta Middle names spelling winners

VALDOSTA – Valdosta Middle School held its annual spelling bee recently.
Competition was fierce, school officials said, but three winners did emerge.
Charles Agbali took first place; Hannah Garrison, second; and Vincent Agbali, third, school officials said.
All three will compete in the Valdosta City School’s district spelling bee, Feb. 1, at the Valdosta City Schools Performing Arts Center. Congratulations to our winners and all of our students who competed.
Dr. Debbie Paine served as caller. Dr. Dan Altman, Dr. J.T. Cox and Caterina Orr served as judges, school officials said.
VMS business partners are Jodi’s Accessories, Langdale Industries and Valdosta Teachers Credit Union. They sponsored the spelling bee.
