‘Business decision’: ‘Cats standout Bell re-opens recruitment

VALDOSTA –– On Thursday, Valdosta Wildcats senior Jaheim Bell announced via Twitter that he will re-open his recruitment, de-committing from the University of Florida.
The versatile pass-catcher committed to the Gators on April 13, the same day the Gators held their annual spring game.
“This is a business decision so I want to make sure I make the right one,” Bell wrote on his Twitter account. “Choosing a school and program is a life changing and important decision that will affect my future. I need to make sure I make the best decision for me and my family. Florida is still a top school for me. RESPECT MY DECISION!!!”
Bell, who has 39 standing offers according to 247Sports, has also received interest from South Carolina, Alabama, Florida State, LSU and Michigan most notably. The 6-foot-2, 213-pound prospect currently ranks as the No. 23 athlete in the country and 36th in the state of Georgia.
