Flood relief available at Live Oak Church of Christ

The Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team is coordinating flood relief efforts through the Live Oak Church of Christ, according to co-director Laura Cremeans. 


The Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team is based out of West Melbourne, Florida and is in town working with the Live Oak Church of Christ as well surrounding area Churches of Christ in the flood stricken areas. 


The relief effort is being staged out of the Live Oaks Church of Christ, 1497 Irvin Ave. 
Food, cleaning supplies, personal care items, blankets, baby items, new and like new clothing, etc. are being distributed Monday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. 


The community is also able to sign up for assistance with clean up and rebuilding of their houses for those without/under insured during these same hours. Work is being done by volunteers of the Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team.  


Those needing flood assistance are asked to bring identification showing the address of the flooded home.
