6A cross country sectionals set for Saturday

VALDOSTA — Lowndes and Valdosta will compete Saturday morning at the GHSA 6A cross country sectional in Rochelle.

Teams from Region 1, 4, 7 and 8 will be at the meet. Boys will run at 8:30 a.m., with girls to follow at about 9:15. The course is located at and around Wilcox County Middle and High School on GA 215.

This will also serve as the region meet for 1-6A.

The state Class 6A cross country meet Nov. 9 in Carrollton.
