Local woman wins a chance to play the wheel with Pat and Vanna

A Live Oak woman was one of two Florida residents to win a trip Wednesday to Hollywood, Ca. for her chance to play Wheel of Fortune with Pat Sajak and Vanna White.

Lori Steele of Live Oak and a Davenport woman won the grand prize drawing.

The Florida Lottery held the first of four WHEEL OF FORTUNE® second chance drawings, awarding 15 winners a Nintendo Wii™ game console and a WHEEL OF FORTUNE® Wii™ game. The two grand prize winners will receive a trip to Hollywood, with the chance to participate in an exclusive, non-broadcast, lottery players-only WHEEL OF FORTUNE® game on the actual set with Pat Sajak and Vanna White.

Three second chance drawings remain and will be held on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 and on Jan. 11. Players may continue to enter their non-winning WHEEL OF FORTUNE® Scratch-Off tickets on the Lottery’s website. Tickets entered by midnight before the day of each drawing will be included in that day’s drawing. In each of the drawings, two grand prize winners will be awarded a four-night trip for four to Hollywood, Ca., $4,125 spending cash and the opportunity to participate in an exclusive, non-broadcast, multi-state, lottery players-only version of the WHEEL OF FORTUNE® game. Fifteen, second prize winners will be awarded a Nintendo Wii™ game console along with a WHEEL OF FORTUNE® Wii™ game. A total of eight Lottery players will win the Hollywood trip and 60 players will win the Nintendo Wii game package.
