On tap: Bulldog Bash Thursday, homecoming parade Friday

Bulldog Bash

The Suwannee High School community pep-rally is Thursday night, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at Paul Langford Stadium in Live Oak. Admission is $4. The pep-rally is to show support for the Bulldogs prior to the homecoming game Friday night in which Suwannee will host Bay High School out of Pensacola. The theme is Groove Cruise Through the 70s.


The pep-rally will have performances by the SHS varsity cheerleaders, SHS band, JV cheerleaders, the Dancing Dolls, National Honor Society, HOSA Club, SHS Majorettes, Interact, the class of 2013, the class of 2014 and the class of 2016.




Homecoming parade



The homecoming parade is Friday at 3 p.m. Parents, schools release early. Suwannee Primary School: 12:40 p.m., Suwannee Elementary School: 1 p.m., Suwannee Intermediate School: 1 p.m., Suwannee Middle School: 1 p.m. and Suwannee High School: 1:20 p.m.


The parade will begin at the field in front of SES and next to the library. It will head north on Ohio Avenue (US 129) to Howard Street (US 90) where it will turn left onto Howard. Then it will turn left at Houston Avenue and end at Paul Langford Stadium.
