Former Bulldog star dies in Starke crash

Justin Wade Starling, 20, was killed in a Saturday night crash in Starke, according to FHP.

Starling was eastbound on CR 230 in Bradford County at 8:50 p.m. when his 2001 Chevy SUV traveled onto the south shoulder then spun when Starling attempted to reenter the roadway. The vehicle traveled onto the north shoulder and struck two trees, said FHP.

Starling was a star linebacker for the Suwannee Bulldogs from 2006-08.
