TU finishes fourth in Skyhawks Invitational

The 14th-ranked Thomas University women’s golf team jumped two spots and finished fourth with a score of 332-314–646 in the Skyhawks Invitational on Tuesday at the Callaway Gardens Golf Course. Heidi Hinz finished ninth overall.

 Lee University won the invitational with a 304-296–600, while Courtney Lowery of Point University took the individual crown with a one over par, 70-75–145.

 Hinz led the Night Hawks with an 80-77–157, while Kristen Sculley and Caroline Parrish both finished tied for 15th. Sculley shot an 85-77–162 and Parrish recorded an 80-82–162. Genevieve Courtney produced an 88-78–166, while Zayla Smith carded an 87-88–175.

 TU returns to the course in the Battle at the Primm in Primm Valley, Calif. on Monday.
