Madison man hospitalized after I-10 wreck

LIVE OAK — A Madison man was airlifted to Shands at the University of Florida after a one-vehicle wreck Saturday evening on Interstate 10.

Nathaniel Ketterer, 32, was headed west on I-10 near mile marker 293 at 5:20 p.m. when his 2005 Ford tow truck veered north and off the road for an unknown reason, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

The truck then struck a tree 50 feet north of the interstate, according to the FHP report, causing it to catch on fire.

The report said the cab was fully engulfed in flames when FHP arrived at the scene.

Ketterer was taken to Shands with serious injuries.
