Parker Urban Band and Band of Heathens among 2015 Magnolia Fest opening day artists

Parker Urban is one of the region’s most organic, soulful and sought after bands from Jacksonville. This 7-piece band and Band of Heathens were among the many bands opening the 2015 Magnolia Fest Thursday, Oct. 15 at the beautiful Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak.

Others performing opening day were Ivey West Band, The Lee Boys, The Congress, Corbitt Brothers, The Motet, Nikki Talley and Lake Street Dive.

Magnolia Fest continues through Sunday evening with Tedeschi Trucks Band, Del McCoury Band. Lost Bayou Rambles, The Travelin’ McCourys & Roosevelt Collier, Doyle Bramhall II, Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel, Habanero Honeys, The Long Souls, Col. Bruce Hampton, Cedell Davis, Applebutter Express, The Avett Brothers, Grandpa’s Cough Medicine, Quartermoon, Big Cosmo, Jeff Austin Band, Jim Lauderdale, Grits & Soul and many other artists and bands.

The SOSMP is located 4.5 miles south of Interstate 75 and 4.5 miles north of Interstate 10 at the beautiful Suwannee River off US 129 at 3076 95th Drive.
