Shady Grove Baptist Church invites everyone to their 21st Annual Old Timey Day on Saturday, Nov. 8, beginning at 8 a.m. It promises to be fun for the whole family and it’s free!

Sample foods will be cooked over a wood-burning stove from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a grist mill, and a windmill and demonstrations of wood splitting and rock crushing.

Watch sugar cane grinding and syrup making the old fashioned way. Also enjoy seeing steam engines, antique cars and antique tractors, and a working windmill display.

Shady Grove Baptist Church is located at 5858 River Road in Live Oak which is 15 miles west of Live Oak, on US 90 and three miles down River Road.
