Valdosta State University Announces Spring 2024 dean’s list

VALDOSTA — More than 1,600 distinguished and accompolished students were named to Valdosta State University’s Spring 2024 dean’s list.

Dean’s list honors are reserved for the highest achieving students at VSU.

To qualify for dean’s list at VSU, students must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher. Please note that developmental studies, transient, and graduate students are not eligible for Dean’s List status.

 Medders named to Spring 2024 Chancellor’s Honor Roll at the University of Mississippi

UNIVERSITY, Miss. — Natalee Medders, of Tifton,  was named to the University of Mississippi’s Spring 2024 Honor Roll lists.

Medders, majoring in Forensic Chemistry, was named to the Chancellor’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.

Sheffield graduates from Southwestern College 2024

WINFIELD, Kan. — Randolph Sheffield of Nashville, graduated  cum laude from Southwestern College held Commencement exercises Sunday, May 5, 2024. 

Deshazer Named to dean’s list at University of Maryland Global Campus

ADELPHI, Md. —  Kadedra Deshazer of Tifton was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2024 term at University of Maryland Global Campus. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

Mercer University Announces Spring 2024 president’s lists Spring 2024

 MACON—  Mercer University recently announced the president’s list Spring 2024 semester.

 Area students include:

Tifton: Lucy Roach,  Abraham Soto

Georgia Southern University announces Spring 2024 president’s list

STATESBORO — Georgia Southern University recently recognized approximately 2,280 students for excellence in academics on the Spring 2024 president’s list. To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Area students include: 

Tifton: Chase Beckham, Ellen Bloebaum, Jerealya Cogdell, Jenna Davis, Josue Lopez 

Georgia Southern announces Spring 2024 dean’s list

STATESBORO—  Georgia Southern University recently recognized approximately 3,460 students for excellence in academics on the Spring 2024 dean’s list. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
