In what Suwannee County Sheriff Tony Cameron is calling the biggest ever drug bust in the city of Live Oak, the Suwannee County Drug Task Force (SCDTF) arrested four people and seized more than $33,500 in cocaine and Ecstasy pills over the weekend.
Arrested Jan. 12 at a home off Walker Avenue were Kissy Johnson, 26, 640 Washington Avenue; Terrance Devon Loper, 30, Wellborn; Lakeisha Tillman, 28, 407 Mussey Ave., and Johnnie Lee Williams, 33, 12910 US 90 West, Lot 69, all who are charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell, trafficking in cocaine and possession of MDMA (Methylenedioxymethamphetamine or Ecstasy), according to Suwannee County Jail records.
“It’s probably the biggest drug bust inside the city I’ve heard of,” Sheriff Cameron, who oversees the SCDTF, said this week.
The sheriff said the SCDTF conducted controlled drug buys at the home then got warrants for the suspects and went to the house Friday afternoon, Jan. 12, and made the arrests.
Along with the four arrests officers also found 20 Ecstasy pills, 330 grams of cocaine, 112 grams of powdered cocaine and 218 grams of crack cocaine, Sheriff Cameron said. Sheriff Cameron said the cocaine and pills had an estimated street value of $33,500.
The SCDTF is made up of officers from local law enforcement that includes the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office and Live Oak Police Department, along with other officers.
