A Tampa pair have been arrested in Live Oak for the sale of Oxycodone, police reports say.
Phillip Nelson, 51, and Dorothy A. Staples, 53, both of Tampa, were discovered selling 200 Oxycodone pills during a Suwannee County Drug Task Force investigation on June 16. Nelson and Staples were caught when they attempted to sell pills to a task force operative, according to reports. The undercover officer was able to video record the entire transaction.
Officers confiscated 25.2 grams of Oxycodone from the defendants.
Nelson and Staples were taken into custody and transported to the Suwannee County Jail where they face charges of trafficking Oxycodone, sale of a controlled substance and possession of Oxycodone with the intent to sell.
