I am tired of people doing 5-10 mph below the speed limit driving in the left hand lane. If I high beam you, weave back and fourth, hide in your blind spot or tailgate you, please don’t get mad. Just smile and be happy.
A huge Rave to Cmdr. Johnnie Fason of the Valdosta Police Department. He has touched so many lives with his kindness, dedication to duty and professionalism. While his presence at VPD will be missed, his presence in the community will hopefully still be felt. Best wishes to Cmdr. Fason and his family. And best wishes to those at the VPD for a great 2007.
Many raves to Steve with Master Plumbing in Lakeland. Steve is by far, the most reliable, and honest gentleman that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Rave, Rave, Rave.
Could we stop using the “illegal immigrants do the jobs Americans will not do” argument please? It is opinion, not fact, and totally unprovable. There are over 11 million illegals in the United States. If they disappeared tomorrow, do you seriously think all of the jobs that number represents would go unfilled?
As a teacher, I had the pleasure of having Jon Rogers in my classes at Lowndes High School. May good health, happiness, and tremendous personal success surround both him and his mother very soon. God bless.
I’m calling about this cloning issue that’s the talk of the town or the world for a while now. I think we need to leave nature and animals alone and let nature be as it is as our creator made it.
This cloning issue concerns the world and everybody in it. They need to leave animals alone and stop cloning them and scaring people to death over this.
The United States could afford to learn something about capital punishment from Iraq.
Barack Obama is being touted as the next serious contender for president. While he seems to be a smart and pleasant person with a bright political future ahead of him, I have no idea what the man stands for. Doesn’t that bother anyone?
