Atkinson joins Ameris Bank

VALDOSTA – Karol Atkinson has joined Ameris Bank as a mortgage banker, said Clay Hadsock, Ameris Bank mortgage branch manager. 

Atkinson will be responsible for assisting the bank’s customers with mortgage needs, according to a statement from bank officials. Prior to joining Ameris Bank, Atkinson worked for Contour Mortgage. She has experience in various roles and has been in the industry for more than 20 years.

“We are happy to have Karol on our team,” Hadsock said. “Her experience and dedication to helping our customers will allow us to continue to fulfill our mission as a company.”

Atkinson attended Bainbridge College where she studied marketing and management. She is an active participant in her community and has been the chair or co-chair of multiple organizations, including Decatur County Homebuilders and the Decatur Chamber of Commerce. 

Atkinson is a licensed mortgage loan officer in Georgia, Florida and Alabama. Raised in Colquitt, she resides in Bainbridge with her husband, Charlie.

 

Infinex welcomes CBC Bank

VALDOSTA — Commercial Banking Company headquartered in Georgia, with branches in Valdosta, Moultrie, Baytree, Hahira and Tifton, has selected Infinex Financial Group as its new broker/dealer. 

CBC Bank, with three advisors, is converting its program to Infinex from Cetera, bank officials said in a statement.
