Cecil Edward Johns
Cecil Edward Johns, 66, a retired truck driver and loving husband and father passed away Saturday April 29, 2006.
A native of Valdosta, Ga., he moved to Silver Springs from Hollywood, Fla. in 1997. He was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years , Noreen Johns of Silver Springs; sons, James Edward Johns, Martin Joseph Johns and Robert Thomas Johns, all of Ocala; sister, Linda Larrimore, Blakely, Ga.; brothers, James Warren Johns, Monroe, Iowa and Enoch Elias Johns of Myrtle Beach, S.C. He is preceded in death by two sisters Ada Nell Johns and Wanda Lougene Tidwell/Spikes, both of Valdosta. He was loved very much by his family and will be missed dearly.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Our Lady of the Springs Church, 4047 N.E. 21st St., Ocala, Fla. 34470.

Daniel Herman “Danny” Turner
Mr. Daniel Herman “Danny” Turner, 59, died suddenly Saturday morning, April 29, 2006, at his residence in Jamestown.
He is a native and lifelong resident of Waycross. He retired from CSX Railroad as a carman after 35 years of service. He served in the United States Air Force for four years and the National Guard Army Reserve for 21 years. He was also a member of Brooks United Methodist Church.
He is the son of the late Samuel Herman Turner. He is the husband of the late Diana Lynn Keseraukis Turner. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Turner.
Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Diana Griffin and Darrell, Waycross, Danielle Harrell and Ronny, Waresboro, Jamie Ann Turner, Waycross and Jennifer Wilson and Michael, Waycross; seven grandchildren, Logan Danielle Turner, Bryan Daniel Turner, Darren Wilson, Deseray Wilson, Gene Pfund IV, Cason Turner, and Ronald Harrell; his mother, Donna Lee Woodard Turner of Waycross; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Tammie Turner of Valdosta; sister and brother-in-law, Gail Wilkinson and Johnny of Titusville, Fla.; and four nieces and nephews.
Funeral service were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
