Georgia Christian revitalizes spelling bee
DASHER – Georgia Christian School hosted its first school spelling bee Tuesday evening, Jan. 16, with a fourth- and fifth-grade-level competition and a sixth- through eighth-grade competition.
Students were narrowed down to two finalists per group, and the finalists will go on to compete at the GICAA Region competition in March, according to school officials.
Fourth- and fifth-grade finalists are Jordan Barber and Jett Guilliams. Sixth- through eighth-grade finalists are Kayden Hicks and Curtis Peek, according to the school.
