Cannon, Mary Frances
Mary Frances Cannon, 73, of O’Brien passed away Monday, June 20, 2005 in her home after a long illness. She was a homemaker, a member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary, and a member of Burlington Santa Fe Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband: Austin Cannon, O’Brien; two sons, Austin Cannon Jr., O’Brien and Randy Cannon, Buffalo, S.C.; four daughters,: Carol Gainey, Chipley, Donna “Trudy” Mobley, Patsy Ward, and Teresa Touchton all from O’Brien; five brothers: Ervin Sandlin, Searcy, AR, Carl Sandlin, Lake City, Grant Sandlin, Beebe, AR, Wayne Sandlin, Mt. Pleasant, TX, and Don Sandlin, Beebe, AR; two sisters: Jimmie Swilley, Alachua and Linda Matthews, Mt. Pleasant, TX. Eighteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased in death by grandsons Keith Gainey, Gary Mobley and parents James and Ruby Sandlin.
Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Burlington Santa Fe Church of Christ, Branford with Mr. Jim Sullivan and Mr. Sam Durden officiating. Interment followed in Santa Fe Cemetery, Branford. In lieu of flowers, National Kidney Foundation of Florida, 1040 Woodcock Rd. Suite #119, Orlando, Florida, 32803.
Daniels Funeral Home of Branford was in charge of all arrangements.
