SON CHARGED IN WOMAN’S MURDER

The son of a local real estate agent was charged with her murder Monday, Sheriff Tony Cameron said.

The body of Elizabeth Elliott, 79, was discovered late Sunday. Elliott had been missing since Tuesday. The cause of her death has not yet been determined.

Elliott’s son, William Robert Elliott, 53, jailed since Friday on weapons charges, has been charged with first degree murder in her death.
