Here’s what’s happening tonight, Thursday, April 22, according to items submitted.

The AmVets: 728 E. Hill Ave., starts 9 p.m. DJ  spins hits.

Art Auction: Two Friends Cafe and Market, 3338-B Country Club Road, 6-8 p.m. Nearly 40 South Georgia artists have donated items for auction to benefit the Partnership Cancer Fund, which helps Lowndes County cancer patients. Admission: Free and open to the public.

The Bistro: Downtown Valdosta. Dante’s Inferno, a Valdosta-based band, plays.

Club Paradise: Highway 84. Female dancers.

Creekside Tavern: Gornto Road. Local entertainment. PLUS: DJ spins hits.

Lake Dogs: 118 Lakes Boulevard, Lake Park. Too North, a new Valdosta band featuring David Williams, Jack Lindauer, Tim Teasley, Billy Bruce, Mike Tudor, plays.

Mikki’s: 402 Northside Drive. Texas Hold ’em. Games start 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. No cover.

Quality Inn Lounge: 1902 W. Hill Ave., 7-10 p.m. Karaoke with DJ Eve. No cover.

Rascal’s: 4875 U.S. Highway 41, Lake Park. Karaoke.

“The Spirit of Dance in America:” Sawyer Theatre, Valdosta State University Fine Arts Building, corner of Oak and Brookwood, show starts 7:30 p.m. VSU Theatre & Dance concludes its season with the annual dance show.
